Admission and registration of competitors:

Maximum participants per country:
Level 3 maximum 4 starters and 1 backup (if the timetable allows 5 starters, 1 back up can start)
One week after closing the entries, the decision will be made if back up can start.
The World Champion of the previous World Championship (level 3) is invited to defend his title and
count as an extra competitor for his team, so his team goes to 5 starters and 1 backup.
Level 2, 1 starter and 1 back up (who start only when the starter of his country cannot start)
Level 1, 1 starter and 1 back up (who start only when the starter of his country cannot start)

Each participating country can have up to 8 participants plus 2 reserves. If the total
number of participants is lower than 160, also reserves can start. However the total
number should not exceed 180 teams in total. To complete the total number of
participants, it is also possible to enable the start of just 1 reserve per country.
Reserves can replace participants at the latest during the team leader meeting after the
training.

Competitors
a. Competitors have to have the qualification for the class they are entering.
b. A handler can compete with the maximum number of two (2) dogs.
c. A handler or a dog cannot compete in other disciplines at the World Championship (except
exposition).
d. The maximum number of competitors per country is 12 with a maximum of 6 competitors in
class 3.

Participants.
The maximum number of participants is limited to 100 Divided to:
– 50 for area search (Level B takes Preference for participation on level A)
– 50 for Rubble search (Level B takes Preference for participation on level A)

Maximum participants per country:
Each country may send a national team of up to 12 dogs, divided into 6 for
each discipline (6 Area Search, 6 Rubble) and then subdivided at discretion
into A and B categories, but with no more than 3 for A categories.
Dogs selected by their national team need to have passed with success the
necessary level and discipline of choice, to take part at the FMBB WC.
Dogs need to be entered in their highest qualified Level.
If the situation requires, the organization can limit or increase the above numbers.

Competitors

• Competitors must have the qualification for the class they have entered according to
  the General Conditions for the Organization of FCI International Herding Events
  Procedure system.
• A handler can compete with the maximum number of two dogs.
• The maximum number of competitors per country is 5 with a maximum of 2
  competitors in category 3 + maximum three reserve in category 3 and 3 reserves in
  category 2 + 1.
• If there is free capacity after the application deadline, the organizer can send the
  request to enlarge the number of participants per country to the FMBB Herding
  Commission. If agreed by the Herding Commission, the Organizer must inform the
  applying countries about the possibility as soon as possible.
• The maximum dogs competing per day is, if only one class is organized in one day, 20
  for class 1, 18 for class 2 and 16 for class 3. For combination of class 2 and 1 in one
  day it is recommended 10 for class 2 and 10 for class.
